The teacher and guru Paramahansa Yogananda started the Self-Realization Fellowship back in 1930 in which he taught meditative breathing to the Western world as a key to meditation and gaining a closer walk with God. He has written several books you might want to investigate for your time of meditation and prayer walk. He stated, “Live each present moment completely, and the future will take care of itself. Fully enjoy the wonder and beauty of each instant. Practice the presence of peace. The more you do that, the more you will feel the presence of that power in your life.”

 We as Christians often get so caught up in our lives, our jobs, the stuff of life we just don’t stop and enjoy what God has created. Today let the journey unfold. Say a word of thanks, give someone a hug, pause and pray giving thanks for our Savior and the walk He has prepared for us.
