“The Lord said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I’ll show you.’ So Abram left, as the Lord had told him.” Genesis 12: 1,4

Such a move could not have been an easy one for Abram and his family. But it was this very move that put God’s purpose for Abram into motion. In the land that was prepared for him and his wife Sarah a son named Isaac was born. Through that child would come the nation of Israel. But for that to happen Abram had to first to obey and “go”.

Where have you been called to go by God? What new direction has God been pushing you in yet you continue to drag your feet? Just as promises were kept and miracles performed through the lives of Abram and Sarah so too can those same miracles be fulfilled in your life today.  But…we do have to answer “yes” to God’s summons and we must “go”!

Stay on the path and discover new ways to serve but please….move.
