We are practicing and getting costumed to present a play to our youth. We wanted some pictures for the program so my wife took a photo of me in a crown. After the shot she said, “Wow look at this!” There I was with a sparkly head. Some say I have a big head but that’s another blog.

As I looked at the picture I thought how appropriate at Christmas time. That babe born so long ago took a long walk from the cradle to the cross for you and I. Why? So we would have hope for today and the promise of eternity tomorrow. No matter what you face now or in the coming 2015 our God, along with your brothers and sisters in Christ, walk with you. Remember one day we will all wear the crown life because of the Holy child.

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him” (James 1:12).
